Miranda is a first year PhD student in the Biomedical Sciences Program. She graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. During her time at Purdue she spent 2 years with the Lindemann lab in the Department of Food Science working on diet-microbe interactions in the gut. In her free time she likes to crochet, fence, and play with her cat Darwin.
